CUPB International Students Attend the Opening Ceremony of the New Class of 2019
The Opening Ceremony of the 2019 Class of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) was held in the playground on the morning of August 30, 2019. More than 100 international students attended the opening ceremony. Since then, they began their study and life in China University of Petroleum (Beijing).
At the opening ceremony, President of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) Zhang Laibin delivered a keynote speech en d "Bearing Oil Drop Spirit, Casting the Character of CUPB", expressing his warm welcome to the new students of CUPB, wishing all new students can become the real sons of oil, with hot blood and calm mood. Teacher representative, current student representative and freshman representatives also gave their speeches at the ceremony.
Kazakh student Nurpeiis Ayazhan of 2019 Class spoke at the opening ceremony as the representative of international students. Nurpeiis Ayazhan is a 2019 Chinese government scholarship student majoring in petroleum engineering. In her speech, she explained why she chose CUPB and petroleum engineering, expressed her love for China. She is full of expectation for the upcoming life in CUPB and has strong confidence in learning petroleum engineering and devoting herself to petroleum industry.
