Meet You in March -- DIY Lipstick Event
March is sunny and full of life, and everywhere is full of spring. On this warm spring day, we are again celebrating the 111th International Women's Day. To celebrate International Women's Day and enrich the cultural atmosphere on campus, College of International Education of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) held a "Meet You in March" -- DIY lipstick activity on March 7th. A total of 10 female students from 7 countries including the Bahamas, the Republic of South Sudan, and Ghana participated in the event.
On the scene of the activity, the teacher introduced the materials and production process of lipstick to everyone. After listening carefully to the teacher's explanation and getting familiar with the tools, the students began to make them. First, they mixed and stirred the raw materials in a certain proportion, then put them into a beaker for heating, melted them, poured them into the mold for cooling, and finally put them into the imported red tube after taking off the film. Through a series of steps, such as mixing and fixing, the lipstick made by the students came out.
Through this handcraft activity, the international students experienced the fun of making lipstick, improved the students' practical ability, let them master new skills, and enriched the students' spare time life.
