The Teacher-Student Exchange Meeting for Graduate Students of The College of International Education of CUPB was Successfully Held
On October 28, 2021, the teacher-student exchange meeting for graduate students of CUPB was held in conference room 306 of the international exchange center. Professor Rui Zhenhua, a famous teacher of the Department of oil and gas field development engineering of the College of Petroleum Engineering, was specially invited to the exchange meeting to talk about life, ideals, scientific research and development. Liu Xiaoqing, vice Dean of The College of International Education, and more than 60 international students were invited to attend the meeting.
At the beginning of the exchange meeting, vice Dean Liu Xiaoqing delivered a speech on the stage to introduce the basic situation of Professor Rui Zhenhua and express her welcome and gratitude to Professor Rui Zhenhua for his visit to the site and in-depth exchanges with international students.
At the meeting, Professor Rui Zhenhua first introduced his educational background and work experience in fluent English, then briefly introduced the current development, employment of petroleum engineering students to international students, shared his views on the current world energy development trend with international students, and briefly introduced the concept and vision of carbon peak, carbon neutralization and CCUS. Professor Rui Zhenhua said that he hopes international students will cherish their time, study hard, develop in an all-round way, make career planning and prepare for future development. International students took this opportunity to ask to Professor Rui Zhenhua some questions they faced in curriculum, enrollment and employment. Professor Rui Zhenhua combined his professional knowledge and rich experience to help students sort out their ideas and patiently answer various questions ranging from future planning to professional details.
This exchange meeting deepened students' understanding of graduate academic development and built a good communication platform for teachers and students. International students have said that they have benefited a lot, and many questions have been satisfactorily answered. This exchange meeting has played a positive role in continuously improving the education and management level of international students and improving the quality of talent cultivation.
