2018 International Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology Conference
7th of March, 2018 the international students of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) visited the International Petroleum and Petrochemical Technology Conference (IPPTC) and China International Petroleum and Petrochemical Exhibition (CIPPE) which were organized by Xian University of Petroleum, Shanxi Petroleum Association and Beijing Zhenwei Exhibition Co., Ltd respectively. The conference was held in Hotel Inn and began at 8:30.
There were foreign guests Dr. Scott M. Shemwell (The Rapid Response Institute, USA), Dare Jeremiah (CEO, Australia), Dr. Kashmir Johal (Fluid in Motion Ltd., UK), Dr. Jane Ren (CEO, USA) who presented their experience and innovations. Their presentations encouraged international students of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) to pursue their future research dreams and work. During the coffee break, students talked to them face to face and asked questions.
After the conference there was keynote session where the guests answered the questions from the hosts and audience.
After the conference the students went to the CIPPE where were many companies in the oil & gas field showcased their equipment. Every student could just come over to company’s stand and ask what they wanted to know about the company’s work and their technologies, internships and the jobs they can offer.

We arrived on time and the conference started with a warm welcome to all speakers and audience.
