CUP-Undergraduate Program(Third Group) interview for 2024/2025 Academic year
Dear Applicants,
We thank you for your interest and the trust you put in China University of Petroleum, Beijing. We shall be holding interviews for Undergraduate applicants according to the schedule below on Tuesday 21st May 2024 to Wednesday 22nd May 2024. For the Interview list, please read the attachment. PLEASE NOTE ALL TIME INDICATED IS BEIJING TIME (GMT +8).

The Meeting ID and Passcode have been sent to your email.
All applicants should download the zoom application on their computer or smart phone and test their devices at least a day in advance to be certain they are able to be used for the interview. Students should join the meeting and patiently wait in the zoom waiting room until it’s their turn to be interviewed. After joining the meeting, students should change their ZOOM names to(PASSPORT NUMBER+FULL NAME)for easy recognition. Make sure you turn on your microphone and camera as soon as you are admitted to the interview room.
Points to note:
i) Each applicant will be given around 3 minutes interview time.
ii) Half a minute for self-introduction
iii) 2 minutes to answer questions from the interview Panel.
iv) The language of the interview depends on the program that applicants applied for.
v) The interview will be conducted in the order of the list, applicants should wait patiently in the zoom waiting room as each interview will take about 2-3 minutes and therefore students should know the approximate time of their turn according to the order of the list above.
vi) If the applicant cannot be reached within three minutes from when they are supposed to be interviewed, we will proceed to the next applicant.
vii) Applicants should keep time and look for a quiet place with a good network signal free from interruptions in advance to avoid wastage of their interview time. Test your internet connection before hand by making a free zoom call to a friend or relative nearby and adjust the video area. (Area captured in your video) to your satisfaction.
viii) Appropriate dress code is expected of all applicants as the interview is part of a series of factors to be considered while making the admission and scholarship decisions.
