SECOND UNDERGRADUATE ENROLLMENT INTERVIEW SCHEDULE (Friday 26th of June, 2020)
Undergraduate applicants,
We thank you for your interest and the trust you put in China University of Petroleum, Beijing. We shall be holding the second round of online interviews for Undergraduate applicants who have passed the preliminary review according to the schedule below. PLEASE NOTE ALL TIME INDICATED IS BEIJING TIME (GMT +8). MAKE SURE YOU CONFIRM YOUR ATTENDANCE BY CLICKING THE LINK AT THE END OF THIS NOTICE AND FILLING IN THE CONFIRMATION FORM TO SHOW THAT YOU ARE AWARE OF THE INTERVIEW.
How the interviews will be conducted:
INTERVIEWS WILL BE CONDUCTED USING ZOOM AND THE MEETING ID AND PASSWORD HAS BEEN SENT TO YOUR REGISTERED EMAIL.
Applicants should download the zoom application on their computer or smart phone and test their devices at least a day in advance to be certain they are able to be used for the interview. Students should join the meeting and patiently wait in the zoom waiting room until it’s their turn to be interviewed. After joining the meeting, students should change their ZOOM names to (PASSPORT NUMBER+FULL NAME) for easy recognition. Make sure you turn on your microphone and camera as soon as you are admitted to the interview room.
Points to note:
Each applicant will be given around 5 minutes interview time.
1 minute for self-introduction
4 minutes to answer questions from the interview Panel.
The language of the interview depends on the program that applicants applied for.
The interview will be conducted in the order of the list, applicants should wait patiently in the zoom waiting room as each interview will take about 5 minutes and therefore students should know the approximate time of their turn according to the order of the list above.
If the applicant cannot be reached within three minutes from when they are supposed to be interviewed, we will proceed to the next applicant.
Applicants should keep time and look for a quiet place with a good network signal free from interruptions in advance to avoid wastage of their interview time.
Appropriate dress code is expected of all applicants as the interview is part of a series of factors to be considered while making the admission and scholarship decisions.
