Notice on Annual Evaluation for Chinese Government Scholarship Holders 2021
The annual evaluation for Chinese Government Scholarship holders will be conducted shortly. According to the CGS management regulations, all international students who received the Chinese Government Scholarship must attend and pass the annual evaluation in order to receive the scholarship for the next academic year.
The following categories of students are required to participate in the annual evaluation on time:
1.Students who plan to continue receiving the Chinese government scholarship after September 2021;
2. Ph.D. students who were supposed to graduate in July 2021, but intend to apply for an extension of the scholarship;
3. Students who failed to pass the 2020 annual evaluation, and have been suspended from their scholarships qualification or have had part of their scholarships reduced, must participate in the annual evaluation, if they wish to resume their scholarships.
The students mentioned above are required to print out, fill in, and sign the
(please refer to attachment 1) on their own, and email the scanned copy to 2512775124@qq.com before May 17th, 2021. Please follow the format "Student ID + Passport Name + Form for Annual Review of Chinese Government Scholarship Status" as the subject of the email. Kindly note that the email must be sent before May 17th, 2021.Students who fail to participate in the annual evaluation without a valid reason will be forfeited from the Chinese Government Scholarship from August 2021 onwards.
According to the relevant requirements issued by China Scholarship Council, this year’s annual review grades students quantitatively from morality, academic records, study/research attitude, and activity performance aspects. Please check the The Rules and Scoring Details for the Annual Evaluation of the Chinese Government Scholarship Holders Studying at China University of Petroleum-Beijing 2021 (trial) in the Dingtalk Group of the 2021 CUPB CSC Scholarship Annual Review. If you have not yet joined the Dingtalk Group, please contact the counsellor of the College of International Education for each grade before May 17, 2021. Students are required to submit other supporting materials through the Dingtalk process.
