Matters needing attention:
Take your passport with you on the day of blood donation.
The weight of donated blood was more than 50 kg for men and women.
The day before blood donation, please eat as light as possible, do not drink, do not eat greasy food. On the day of blood donation, do not have breakfast and do not stay up late.
Blood donors should have not caught a cold within a week, not taken medicine within a week, and not been vaccinated within 48 hours. Women should avoid menstruation, do not donate blood three days before and three days after menstruation. Donors should have had no tattoos or ears pierced in the past year.
After blood donation, the blood donors should have more rest, drink more water, ensure the quality of sleep and have a reasonable diet. After 15 minutes of blood donation, the bandage
can be removed. Do not use the donor arm to lift heavy objects within 2 hours. The band-aid can be removed after 12 hours. Do not do strenuous activities on the day of blood donation, and do not touch the injection hole with water within 24 hours.
Blood donation interval:
Whole blood: not less than six months
Interval of single component blood collection: no less than two weeks
Interval between single component blood and whole blood: no less than four weeks
Interval between whole blood donation and component blood collection: no less than three months.
