III. Events
1.Track and Field Events
Men’s Events (13 In Total): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 110m Hurdles (91.4cm High), 400m Hurdles (76.2cm High), 3000m Obstacle, 4×100m, 4×400m, High Jump, Long Jump , Shot Put.
Women’s Events (12 In Total): 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 100m Hurdles (76.2cm High), 3000m Barriers, 4×100m, 4×400m, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put,
Mixed-gender events (1 in total): 2800m mix-gender relay
2. Group Events (5 in total)
Kangaroo Jump, Three People Walking On Two Boards, Walking On Bricks Across The “River”, “Caterpillar” Race, Mixed-Gender Passing Ball Competition.
3. Happy fitness program (2 in total)
Men's event: double rope skipping relay
Women's event: double rope skipping relay
IV. Registration Method
1. One team from the College of International Education will participate in the competition..
2. Each college must purchase personal accident insurance for each athlete.
3. Each single event of each team is limited to 2 persons, and each one person is limited to 2 events (except relay, group events and happy fitness events).
4. Each team number shall be assigned according to the number in the registration form, and the self-made cloth shall be made of cloth of quality and number one for one person. The number cloth must be worn during the competition, and those without number cloth shall not participate in the competition.
5. In relay events, teams must wear uniform clothes of each team before they can compete.
6. Mixed-gender events (1 in total): 2800m relay is registered in the men's group.
Ⅴ. Other matters
1. Athletes of all teams participating in the 100 meter preliminaries for men and women shall be checked at the track examination place at 7:30 and shall not participate in the entrance ceremony.
2. One guide (female), one flag bearer and two flag guards (female) are required for the square array of entrance ceremony of each college, and 48 square array members are required to participate in the entrance ceremony of the opening ceremony.
3. The admission rehearsal is tentatively scheduled for 17:30 on April 28.
4. Athletes who have signed up for the competition shall not abstain without reason. If they are unable to participate in the competition under special circumstances, they need to ask for leave from the College of International Education 2 days in advance.
5. In the evaluation of sports morality and fashion awards, the evaluation contents include: entrance style square team, venue publicity of each unit, cheerleading team, broadcast draft, etc
Postscript：Rules for Team Events
1、Kangaroo Jump
6 people (at least 2 female) will make a team. People all stand after the start line.The first person should put your legs into a bag. When the whistle goes, you should jump like a kangaroo with the bag in both hands to the obstacle which is 20 meters far from you,round the obstacles to return, skip back to the line then pass the bag to the next teammate.When the last teammate completes, the referee will record the time. The shorter the time, the higher the ranking.
Note: during the competition, you need to climb up by yourself if you fall down, and the bag must be put on your leg all the time. If you fall down, you must put it on again before continuing the competition. Two people hand over the bag behind the starting line.
2、Three People Walking on Two Boards
A team of three people standing in front of the starting line in longitudinal direction, feet in the shoes of the retainer should move forward when the start signal goes. The distance of this race is 30 meters. The referee will record when the last member of each team returns to the starting point. The team with the shortest duration wins. The team will be disqualified if their foot disengages from the retainer.
3、Walking on Bricks across the “River”
Venue and Props:
(1) track: about 10 meters long and 1.5 meters wide.
(2) props: 3 small bricks for each team (standard size: 1/3 red brick)
Competition Rules:
Preparation stage: 6 members in total, 3 members from each side of the "river", 3 men on one side and 3 women on the other.
Competition: 1 male member pace across the 10-meter "river" on the brick to the other side, transfer the brick to a female teammate. Repeat this until the last member reach the end of the race.
(3) During the competition, the players shall not support the ground with their hands or feet. The total time for each foul shall be 10 seconds, and the punishment shall be accumulated.
(4) Competition results: determined by timing, the shorter the total time, the better the results!
(5) Each participant shall follow the direction of the referee and cooperate with the progress of the competition. If there is any behavior disturbing the normal order of the competition, the referee has the right to cancel the score and qualification of the team.
4、“Caterpillar” Race
6 players, including 4 men and 2 women, ride on the equipment (players need to hold the handle of the equipment with both hands to fix their position). Through coordination and cooperation, the competition equipment will march on the track, and the team will go back after bypassing the obstacle after 20 meters. Touching the obstacle is not allowed.The clock ends when the last of the six players physically crosses the finish line. The team which takes less time will be ranked first.
5、Mixed-Gender Passing Ball Competition
When the starting gun goes, two people should pass the ball to each other. One person should only bounce it once and pass it to the other. The ranking shall be determined by the valid number of two volleyball players in two minutes. During the competition, the ranking shall not be interfered or influenced by other players.
